Hillaree Tinsley is a financial advisor with Money Concepts Capital Corp. and Benefit Planning, Inc. (BPI) in Shelbyville, Kentucky. BPI is an organization that specializes in federal benefit planning for Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) and Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) employees. Hillaree is among the third-generation of family members with BPI, which was founded by her grandfather Robert Tinsley in 1987. Since joining BPI, Hillaree has committed herself to educating and training federal employees to assist them in understanding their federal benefits and retirement systems.  She has a full understanding of the various areas that affect the decisions and plans for federal employees in their working and retirement futures.

HISTORY

A Shelbyville native, Hillaree graduated from Transylvania University with her bachelor’s degree. Upon graduation, Hillaree immediately began working at BPI traveling to seminars, meeting clients and learning as much as possible first-hand. Hillaree grew up immersed in the BPI world, and she is enthusiastic about carrying on the legacy of her family business.

Hillaree believes there is no substitute for creating a thorough financial plan and that financial planning is especially vital to federal employees because of the many options they have available to them. She is passionate about educating federal employees on their choices and shedding light on what can be a complex system.

In addition to her role as financial planner, Hillaree also serves as a speaker, providing educational seminars and training sessions to government agencies in multiple states across the country. Hillaree treats her clients like she would treat her own family, and her philosophy is to always do what is best for the client.

Benefit Planning, Inc. provides financial advice, financial planning and estate planning services to federal employees. Since joining BPI, Hillaree has developed an in-depth understanding of the federal benefits system, including Thrift Saving Plan (TSP), Social Security Benefits, Federal Employee Group Life Insurance (FEGLI), CSRS/FERS Annuity calculations, CSRS/FERS Survivor Benefits, sick leave calculations, military buy backs, CSRS Voluntary Contributions and deposits and re-deposits.
